Kids Yoga 5 - 12 years
(school term 10 week series)

Join us for some fun, calming, and interactive kids yoga classes!
Each kids yoga class with Sally starts with ‘getting out of our heads and onto our mats’ and a breath/mindfulness exercise. Children are introduced to yoga asanas (poses) in age-appropriate ways including through games and imagination.
It is about having fun while learning about mindfulness, meditation, and yoga. Each class ends in a meditation suitable for your little yogi or yogini.

A prepayment of $125 is required for the full series.

Beginners Yoga 6 x Week Course

Whether you’re new to Yoga or a seasoned student with a regular practice, it is always good to get back to basics.
 
We will cover the fundamentals of
  • Sun Salutations A and B also know as Surya Namaska and break down each pose as we work through them systematically
  • Pranayama – the breath and the channeling of the “Life Force” energy
  • Breakdown standing, seated, forward and back-bending Asanas (Yoga postures) while discovering the planes of movement in the body including exploring physical and mental balance.
  • We will also cover the Bandhas (locks) and Mudras (seals).
  • Discover different Meditation techniques
  • Learn how to really rest and restore in Savasana
 
You will be guided though the safe execution of the Asana learning intuitively to connect to your own body, mind and breath.
This course is sure to build your confidence with Yoga so as to move to a more consistent practice or re-establish some basics you may have been not connected with in your current practice.
 
A course for all levels.
Prepayment of $130.00 is required.
What to Bring:
During COVID times we are not allowed to share equipment or props within the studio.
Each student will require to BYO:
  • 1 x yoga mat
  • 2 x yoga blocks
  • 1 x yoga strap
  • 1 x bolster (yoga pillow)
  • 1 x light blanket
These items can be purchased through the Yoga Flourish online store, otherwise you can acquire them yourself. Alternatives for items: pillows instead of bolster, scarf instead of strap.
