How did you get into yoga?
A class at my local gym many, many moons ago!
How did you find Yoga Flourish?
5 years ago I had a very serious knee trauma. For months I couldn’t walk properly and was really struggling to get back into my yoga – from a physical, not mental point of view. A lovely yoga teacher friend recommended Sharron’s Restorative class – and I’ve never looked back.
What were your first impressions of Yoga Flourish when you came by?
Very warm, welcoming and inclusive. Feels like coming home.
Could you please share your experience of what effect Yoga has had on your life, health of body and mind. How has Yoga made you feel?
I’ve been practising for many years and over that time I’ve become stronger and more supple. I also now have the philosophy that if something is meant to be, it will be and if it’s not it won’t. When I was young I saw everything in “black and white” – now I’m able to view things from other perspectives too.
Anything further you would like to share about an individual teacher or anything you think new student would like to know as they too can be quite nervous as they start heir journeys?
All the teachers at Yoga Flourish are very encouraging and non-judgmental. There is absolutely no need for anyone to be concerned that they can’t get into a certain posture, there’s always at least one alternative. There’s lots of different classes, with something for everyone.
